Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rob Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sabastian Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Rob Williams!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Sabastian Carter!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carter fails in his attempt to clinch.
Williams shoots for a double leg takedown but Carter sprawls well. He's pushed Williams's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Carter closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Carter breaks from the clinch.
Carter goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Williams circles away from the clinch attempt
and Williams makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Williams fails with the takedown.

Carter slaps away a takedown attempt from Williams, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rob Williams. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Williams fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Carter checks it well.

Williams got a little sloppy there for a moment and Carter has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Williams has managed to get both his arms back between Carter's legs - danger averted.
Carter is looking to stand up but Williams isn't so interested in that idea.

and Williams counters with a three punch combo that has Carter backing up. Carter nods at Williams to acknowledge the strikes.

and Williams counters with a left and a right that stings Carter.

and Williams counters with a series of strikes. Carter will be more careful next time no doubt.
Sabastian Carter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Carter closes the distance but Williams moves to the side

and Williams holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Carter lands a nice elbow.
Carter misses with a knee to the head.
Carter trying to control the position but instead, Williams has worked for underhooks and has pushed Carter into the cage.

That was a close round but I would say that Rob Williams will probably get the nod.

and Williams counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Carter is looking for a triangle here but Williams uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Carter tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.

Carter is looking for a sweep. Williams is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Carter looks like he's trying to stand up.
Carter wants to improve his position but Williams is controlling well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!


The fight stays on the outside here - Carter looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
