Dangerfield has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dangerfield shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Kimura is trying to defend but Dangerfield finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Dangerfield is looking to take a break and control but Kimura is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Dangerfield knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kimura on the ground.

Kimura is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Dangerfield pulls his head out easily.

Well, with Kimura on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Dangerfield is tapping out... Can he escape the position?

I really don't envy Dangerfield right now.

Kimura had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Dangerfield is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Kimura Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Dangerfield's back instead.
Dangerfield tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!

Kimura is working for a guillotine from mount but Dangerfield frees his head quite easily.
