Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Colt Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and JoeSon Do (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Harris comes to the cage accompanied by Slaughterhouse-Microphone. Colt Harris could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to JoeSon Do's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Colt Harris!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, JoeSon Do!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Yves DeLean and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harris blocks a low kick nicely.
Harris keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Harris dodges the punch combination from Do.
Harris is looking to clinch but Do is avoiding it.
JoeSon Do seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Do is defended easily by Harris.
Do throws a lazy right hand but Harris sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Harris throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Do sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Harris connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Do misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Harris takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Harris really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
A decent looking cross lands there for Harris.
Nice straight punches there by Harris. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Harris.
Do shoots in but Harris avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Do feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Harris's calf.
Do thows a left - swing and a miss!
Do thows a body shot but no joy.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Harris scores with a jab to the jaw.
Harris cracks a nice hook into Do's ribs.
Harris tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Harris changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Do tries to avoid it but Harris manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Do to the ground. Do escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Harris tries to clinch up.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Harris.
Do is trying to improve his position.

Harris thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
You can see the frustration on Do's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Harris is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Do knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Harris working away.

Do is looking to reverse the position.
Sloppy strikes there by Harris.

Harris tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Harris is breathing heavily.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Do fails with the takedown
and Harris counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Colt Harris has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of JoeSon Do.
Do tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Harris was well out of range. Poor timing from Do.

Do drives through and clinches with Harris against the cage.
Do lands a left hand that snaps the head of Harris backwards.

Do manages to break the clinch.
Harris tries to close the distance and clinch up but Do swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Harris shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Do counters by moving into the clinch.
Harris is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Harris has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Do uses from the top position.

Do trying to control the position from guard on top but Harris is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Do controls from within his opponent's guard.
Do looking to pass the guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Do trying to control but Harris is working from the bottom.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Do content to stall in guard here.
Do trying to control the position from guard on top but Harris is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Harris moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Do thows a body shot but no joy.
Harris tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Do paws at him with a jab and circles away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Colt Harris will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Do drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Harris is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Do tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Harris was well out of range. Poor timing from Do.
Do ducks right into an uppercut from Harris.
Harris scores with a decent looking hook.
Harris throws a one two combo.
Do is looking to chop away at Harris's legs.
Do tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Harris swivels and escapes.
Do is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Harris rather than just go for the knockout.
Do looks to score with a jab to the body but Harris is just out of range.
The fighters circling - Do throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Harris looks to clinch

and Do counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Do is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Do trying to control the position from guard on top but Harris is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Do pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Harris is keeping the position for now.
Harris keeping moving, preventing Do from controlling successfully.
Do stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Harris swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
A jab lands there for Harris.
Do takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Do lands with a shot to the body.

Do gets caught flat footed, as Harris shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Do working a defensive guard here.
Harris stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Do swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Do keeping moving, preventing Harris from controlling successfully.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Do is pulling down on Harris's head to control his posture.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Do closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Do throws a body punch but Harris moves out of range.
Do gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Do moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Do just misses with a punch to the body.
A nice leg kick lands there from Do.
Do scores with a shot to the body.
Do tries a low kick but Harris avoids it.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Harris checks a leg kick.
Do throws out a leg kick but Harris moves out of range and Do only half commits.

Harris uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Do.
Harris uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Do has time to react.
Do tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Harris swivels and escapes.
Colt Harris is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Do misses with a body shot.

Do has managed to clinch.
Do goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Do taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Harris has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Do is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Harris blocks a body shot from Do.
Harris tries to pull guard but Do holds him up against the cage and eventually Harris drops back down to his feet.
Do manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

JoeSon Do showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Do makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Harris changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Do fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Do misses with a wild body shot.
Do lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Do throws a low kick, looking for Harris's leg but Harris calmly moves out of range.

Harris tries to keep at a distance but Do has taken the fight into the clinch.
The is referee keeping an eye on Do - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Do working aggressively here.
Harris is working for takedown but Do is calmly controlling the position for now.

Do lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Do misses with a short punch on the inside.
Come on Do - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Harris blocks an uppercut.
Do misses with a short punch on the inside.
Harris blocking some punches.
Do stalling the fight.
Do stops a takedown attempt from Harris.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Colt Harris. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Do lands with a short shot to the head.

Do breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

and Harris counters with a series of strikes. Do will be more careful next time no doubt.

and Harris counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Do takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Do tried to score with a low kick but Harris checks it.

Harris is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Harris chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Do can pounce on him.
Harris throws a good cross that connects.
Harris scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Do takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Do swings away with a body shot that misses
enabling Harris to counter with a crisp jab.
Do has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye.
Do chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Do swats away the attempt to clinch by Harris.
Harris scores with a nice right hand.

Harris throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Harris moves away from the strike by Do.
Nice straight punches there by Harris. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Harris.
Do scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Harris doesn't seem bothered though.
JoeSon Do seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Do misses with a jab to the body
and Harris connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Harris, as that shot connected.
Do on the wrong end of a nice hook.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Harris checks a leg kick.

Harris lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Harris rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Do moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Harris lands with a straight right. Do didn't see that one coming.
Do misses with a double jab
and Harris counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Harris lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Do throws a front kick that sends Harris stumbling back into the cage.
Harris connects with a nice looking jab.
Harris throws a right hand that Do ducks under and follows up with a left that Do also avoids with ease.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Do taking a breather.
Harris creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Colt Harris.
I think Harris has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
