That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Steiner shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Zvonimir pinned against the cage. Zvonimir gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Steiner feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Zvonimir had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Steiner is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Zvonimir Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Steiner's back instead.
Zvonimir working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Steiner is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Zvonimir has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Steiner taps out!
