Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Zach Smack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quinn Marion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marion has chosen How Low Can You Go by Ludacris as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Zach Smack has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Quinn Marion!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Bruno Lombardi and Alyssa Summers.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Marion drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Marion stops Smack from standing up.
Smack is wriggling around but Marion manages to pass to half guard.
Smack is refusing to be controlled, as Marion sits in half guard.

Smack has one foot on Marion's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Marion dodges the punch combination from Smack.
Smack swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Smack misses with a double jab.
Smack tries to bum rush Marion with a series of wild strikes but Marion uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Zach Smack seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Marion shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Smack but Smack pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Smack misses with a wild combination.
Smack throws a nice inside leg kick.
Smack cracks Marion with an open hand slap.
Smack lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Marion at a distance.
Marion avoids a punch combination nicely.
Marion shoots in for a takedown but Smack shows good takedown defense.
Horrible takedown by Marion or perhaps it was just good defense by Smack which made him look bad.
Zach Smack has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Quinn Marion.

Marion drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Smack is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Marion is controlling him well.

Marion has an Americana. Smack didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Marion is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Marion hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
