The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cunning misses with a series of wild punches.
Kannegaard lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Beasty Kannegaard seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cunning takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Kannegaard tries to bum rush Cunning with a series of wild strikes but Cunning uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Kannegaard punishes Cunning's body with a nice straight punch.
Kannegaard falls off balance throwing a combination

and Cunning counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Cunning.
Kannegaard prevents the takedown attempt.
Kannegaard wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Cunning has him pressed against the cage.

Cunning throws a left and a right that both miss
and Kannegaard counters with a left and a right that stings Cunning.
Kannegaard looks to land a combination. Cunning sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Kannegaard throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Kannegaard misses with a double jab.

and Kannegaard counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Kannegaard lands with a big left! Cunning is wobbled badly! Kannegaard comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Cunning to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
