The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rape throws a lazy right hand but Mars sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Mars does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Rape connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Rape bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
An inside leg kick from Mars misses.
Mars slips under a jab from Rape.
Rape lands a lovely overhand right.
The fighters circling - Mars throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Mars shoots in but no luck this time.
Mars misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Rape bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Mars throws a hook to the side of Rape's head but Rape sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Rape.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Mars. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Mars thows a body shot but no joy.
No joy there for Rape, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Mars ducks right into an uppercut from Rape.
Mars's corner calls for a 1-2. Mars obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Rape lands a nice looking body kick.
Mars throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Rape sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Rape throws out a powerful jab.
Mars tests Rape's chin there with a solid looking shot.
The crowd cheers as Rape lands an impressive looking overhand right. Mars doesn't seem phased though.
Rape is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Mars.

Rape slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Oh Mars is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Mars throws a hook but Rape avoids it easily.

Mars seems to have got his legs back now.

Mars shoots in for a takedown but Rape shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
