The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Windma dives in and grabs Carter's left leg, looking for a takedown. Carter pushes down on Windma's head and hops out.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Windma.
Carter doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Windma counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Windma.
Carter bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Windma's guard.

Carter is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Windma is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Windma has escaped and now he's on top!
Carter not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Carter is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Windma rolls with it to try and escape but Carter cranks on the arm and Windma is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
