Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Aiden Jamison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gavin Drake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Drake is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Riot Maker by Tech N9ne. Gavin Drake has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jamison leaves Drake with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Drake shoots for a double leg takedown but Jamison sprawls well. He's pushed Drake's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Drake!

Jamison feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Jamison stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Drake swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Drake is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Jamison defends well.

Jamison swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Drake is now in Jamison's guard. A big mistake from Jamison there, giving up the dominant position!

Jamison got a little sloppy there for a moment and Drake has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jamison has managed to get both his arms back between Drake's legs - danger averted.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
