Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Quintonn Jacksson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anderson Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Chris Downing and Alan Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jacksson darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Jacksson prevents Silva from standing back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jacksson is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Silva tries to kick Jacksson off but Jacksson keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Silva blocking the ground and pound attempt from Jacksson.
Jacksson tries to stand but can't do so whilst Silva controls his leg.
Silva is looking to control Jacksson's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Silva avoid being mounted?
Silva manages to get to full guard.
Jacksson wants to stand but Silva is controlling his posture from full guard.
Silva bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jacksson's guard.

Jacksson wants to get back to his feet but Silva is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Silva is looking to stand up but Jacksson won't let him.
Jacksson is looking to stand up but Silva isn't so interested in that idea.
Jacksson is breathing heavily.
Silva stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jacksson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Jacksson wants to stand and escape but Silva is having none of it.
Silva wants to control from the top but Jacksson keeps moving.
Silva stops Jacksson from standing up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Silva shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Jacksson counters with a nice double leg into side control. Silva won't be happy with that.
Silva is pushing Jacksson's head away, looking to escape. Jacksson manages to hold on to the position though.

Jacksson looks up at the clock and then as Silva takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Jacksson smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Silva shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Jacksson counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Jacksson stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Silva to get to his feet.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Jacksson.
Silva is trying to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jacksson stands up.

Silva is squirming around, avoiding Jacksson's attempts to control the action.

Jacksson is stalling here but it's allowed Silva to get half guard.

Jacksson tries to stand but Silva is controlling from the bottom.

Silva is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Jacksson is aware though and is defending well.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jacksson controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Jacksson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Silva has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jacksson has managed to get both his arms back between Silva's legs - danger averted.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Jacksson's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Jacksson shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Silva is trying to defend but Jacksson finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Still in half guard, Jacksson seems content to control.
Jacksson has decided to stand back up but his arm is trapped. Whilst he's worrying about his arm, Silva works to full guard.

Silva has his foot on Jacksson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Jacksson works his way back into a safe position though.

Jacksson is sitting in close to Silva's body. Silva has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Jacksson is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Jacksson is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Silva.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Anderson Silva!
