Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Salva Cruz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Horn Apple (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cruz's entrance music is Kreator - Phobia. A fine choice. Salva Cruz looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Apple gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Cruz looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Apple is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Cruz postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Apple escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Cruz gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Apple looking for a guillotine here but Cruz defends easily.
Cruz knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Apple on the ground.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Cruz got a little sloppy there for a moment and Apple has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Cruz has managed to get both his arms back between Apple's legs - danger averted.

Apple throws some wild stikes that Cruz manages to avoid easily.

Apple stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.

Apple uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Cruz has time to react.

Apple throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Cruz on the side of the head.

Apple steps into range and cracks Cruz with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Cruz flops backwards and Apple dives into his guard looking to finish!
Oh Cruz is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
