Rolinha kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Paul Engemann - Push It To The Limit. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Edson Gomes and Alexandre Firmino.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rolinha dives in and grabs Griffin's left leg, looking for a takedown. Griffin pushes down on Rolinha's head and hops out.
Rolinha shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Griffin pinned against the cage. Griffin gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Griffin doesn't manage to clinch there - Rolinha circles away.
Rolinha tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Griffin swivels and escapes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Paulo Rolinha. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Griffin fails to land with a series of punches.
Rolinha fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Griffin ducks under a wild hook from Rolinha.

Griffin has taken the fight to the clinch.

Rolinha goes for a takedown in the clinch but Griffin prevents it.
Rolinha has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Griffin is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Rolinha wants a takedown but no success here.
Rolinha gets underhooks to prevent Griffin's takedown attempt.
Griffin is pressed up against the cage. Rolinha has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Griffin down to the mat. Griffin avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Griffin jabs Rolinha right on the nose. Rolinha blinks but takes it well.
Griffin lands a nice shot that snaps Rolinha's head back.
Nice body punch from Griffin.
Rolinha is breathing heavily.
Rolinha moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Griffin scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A big right followed by a crushing left from Griffin knocks Rolinha out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
