Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between SB Killa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wes Sims (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sims has chosen Eminem, Xzibit, & Nate Dogg - Say My Name as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. SB Killa had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wes Sims!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Stewart Dunkirk and Tiny Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Killa blocks a jab.
Sims does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Killa drives through with a takedown into guard.
Sims working a defensive guard but Killa manages to pass into side control anyway.
Killa trying to control the position but Sims is working away.
You can see the frustration on Sims's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Killa stands up.
Killa swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Sims wants to slow Killa down by chopping away at his legs.
Wes Sims seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sims throws a left and a right that both miss
and Killa counters with a slapping leg kick.

A swing and a miss from Killa.
Sims lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Sims misses with a double jab

and Killa counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Sims utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Killa wants to pass the guard but Sims is keeping the position.
Killa won't allow Sims to sweep him here.
Killa is standing up over Sims. Sims looks to escape but Killa dives into side control.
Sims tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Killa wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Killa postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Killa throws a strike aimed at the side of Sims's head but Sims avoids it well.
Killa landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.

Sims is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Killa's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Killa is trying to control the action in half guard but Sims is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Killa content to control rather than advance.
Killa wants to free his trapped foot but Sims is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Sims is trying to maintain the position but Killa is very close to passing his half guard.
Sims connecting with a few gentle strikes.
Sims misses with some strikes from the bottom.

Killa passes to full mount!
Killa prevents Sims from getting the reversal.

Sims defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Killa.
Sims wants to hold on but Killa pushes him away.
Sims really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Killa is landing with some decent strikes but Sims is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Killa controlling the pace for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sims tries to hold on but Killa postures up.

Killa jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Sims manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Sims is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Killa's leg. Oh but that's left an opportunity for Killa! He's got an arm triangle... it looks tight! He's rotating and Sims has tapped! This one is allllll over!
