Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Harry Bosch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Echo Echo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bosch kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Welcome to the Jungle. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bosch misses with a wild body shot.
Bosch misses with a leg kick.
Echo misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
A telegraphed right hand from Bosch misses the target.
Bosch throws a hook but Echo avoids it easily.
Echo gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Bosch throws a shot from downtown. Echo moves away and avoids it.
Harry Bosch seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bosch fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
No luck for Echo with that takedown attempt.

Echo had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Bosch is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Echo Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Bosch's back instead.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Bosch is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Bosch breaks Echo's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Bosch stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Echo swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Bosch is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Echo escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bosch gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Echo shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Bosch as he avoids it easily.
Harry Bosch has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Echo Echo.

Echo takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Bosch is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Echo's half guard.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Echo is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Bosch has latched onto it... Big trouble! Bosch pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Echo is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Bosch!
