Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dan Vespa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Castle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Dan Vespa!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Frank Castle!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, William Gold and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vespa shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Castle pinned against the cage. Castle gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Vespa closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Castle slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Vespa got a little sloppy there for a moment and Castle has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Vespa has managed to get both his arms back between Castle's legs - danger averted.

Castle had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Vespa is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Castle Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Vespa's back instead.
Castle is trying to stick to Vespa's back but Vespa is turning into Castle. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Castle's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Vespa.

That was a close second round but I would say that Dan Vespa will probably get the nod.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
