PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Cronus Stryfe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vitor Hernandes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hernandes has chosen IRA - Ikar as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Vitor Hernandes enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hernandes is looking to clinch.
Stryfe looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Hernandes doesn't manage to clinch there - Stryfe circles away.
Hernandes misses with a takedown attempt - Stryfe sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Hernandes shoots in looking for a takedown. Stryfe tries to sprawl out of it but Hernandes keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Stryfe manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Stryfe throws a series of punches but Hernandes avoids them all with ease.

Stryfe manages to escape and get back to his feet.

Hernandes throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Stryfe was covering up waiting for the punch and Hernandes finishes the takedown easily into guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Cronus Stryfe will probably get the nod.

Stryfe got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hernandes has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Stryfe has managed to get both his arms back between Hernandes's legs - danger averted.
Cronus Stryfe overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
