Phoenix bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Christian connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Phoenix momentarily.
Christian looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Phoenix closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Phoenix ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Christian moves away.

and Phoenix holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Phoenix drops Christian onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Christian is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!

Christian wants to break the clinch but can't.

Christian has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Phoenix throws a big uppercut that drops Christian! More strikes from Phoenix and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Christian lies dazed against the cage as Phoenix celebrates with his cornermen!
