Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Caleb Cabreros (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Saint Pierre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Robert Douchet and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cabreros throws a hook but Pierre avoids it easily.
Pierre fails to land the takedown.
Pierre checks a leg kick.
Pierre shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Pierre thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.

Pierre unloads with some shots from mount but Cabreros bucks and avoids them well.
Pierre jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Cabreros is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Cabreros and Pierre has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Pierre tries to score with some ground and pound. Cabreros controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Pierre is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Cabreros is aware though and is defending well.
Pierre escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Cabreros gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Cabreros fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Pierre manages to avoid it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Saint Pierre will probably get the nod.

Cabreros throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Cabreros throws a sloppy head kick and Pierre moves out of range easily.
Cabreros ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Pierre moves away.
Pierre avoids the body shot from Cabreros.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Pierre tries for a takedown but Cabreros sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Caleb Cabreros has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Saint Pierre.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Pierre accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Pierre drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Cabreros dives on top into guard.
Cabreros wanted to stand there but Pierre had control of the position.

Pierre working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Cabreros doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Cabreros manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Cabreros is sitting in close to Pierre's body. Pierre has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Cabreros is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Cabreros is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Pierre.
