The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wolf looks to land a combination but Noguiera avoids it well.
A punch combination from Wolf misses.
Noguiera fails to land the takedown.
Noguiera misses with a takedown attempt - Wolf sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Noguiera shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Wolf as he jumps to the side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Silva Noguiera. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Noguiera shoots in but Wolf avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Wolf connects with a good right hand that stumbles Noguiera. Noguiera circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Wolf misses with a few strikes there.
Noguiera shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Wolf defends it nicely.

Wolf bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Wolf misses with the ground and pound.
Wolf wants to control but Noguiera is keeping him busy.
Noguiera misses with an elbow from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Noguiera is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Wolf's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Noguiera won't allow Wolf to pass to mount.
Noguiera tries to get to full guard but Wolf has control of the leg.
Wolf is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Wolf misses with a two punch combination.
Noguiera dives in and grabs Wolf's left leg, looking for a takedown. Wolf pushes down on Noguiera's head and hops out.
Wolf lands with a right hand.

Noguiera takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Desmond Wolf seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Noguiera shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Wolf defends it nicely.

and Noguiera takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Noguiera closes the distance and clinches up with Wolf, looking for a takedown. Noguiera pushes Wolf against the cage but Wolf circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Noguiera looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Wolf lands a glancing blow to the side of Noguiera's head.
Wolf throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Noguiera shoots in but Wolf avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Wolf jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

Wolf gets a takedown into half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Wolf in particular looking to stall.
Wolf landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Wolf is trying to control the action in half guard but Noguiera is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Noguiera makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Noguiera.
Wolf is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Noguiera is looking to sinch up a triangle. Wolf throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Noguiera's body to avoid the submission. Noguiera has instead reached around Wolf's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Noguiera arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
