The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machin drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Machin is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Machin wants to control from the top but Fists keeps moving.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Fists wants to reverse the position here. Machin has hold of a leg though and he's dropped back looking for a kneebar! The fighters roll across the mat but Fists is forced to tap! Fists looks devastated but at least his leg points in the right direction.
