Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between G Kar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Baikov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kar's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Babylon 5. Ivan Baikov is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, G Kar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ivan Baikov!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Hugh Johnson and Bruno Hogan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baikov takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.


It looks like Ivan Baikov has been cut.

Kar looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Baikov!
Kar landing strikes, looking to finish!
Baikov slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Kar working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.


That has opened up Ivan Baikov's cut even more.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kar throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Kar seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Baikov does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Baikov is looking to control Kar's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Baikov avoid being mounted?
Kar seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Baikov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kar. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Kar is looking to take a break and control but Baikov is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Baikov won't allow Kar to pass to mount.
Kar is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Kar moves nicely into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
You can see the frustration on Baikov's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Kar has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Kar scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Baikov to see if he's OK.


Ivan Baikov's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Ivan Baikov's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
