Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Terry Etim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Blake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Alexander Blake!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Andrew Berry and Richard Clark.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Etim tries to close the distance and clinch but Blake swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Etim feints and then cracks Blake's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Blake down.
Etim turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Etim is looking to clinch but Blake is avoiding it.
Etim tries for a takedown but Blake sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Etim misses with a low kick as Blake jumps back.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Etim shoots for a double leg takedown but Blake sprawls well. He's pushed Etim's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Blake drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Blake connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Etim some visible discomfort.

That was a close round but I would say that Terry Etim will probably get the nod.

Etim got a little sloppy there for a moment and Blake has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Etim has managed to get both his arms back between Blake's legs - danger averted.

Etim stands and steps away. Blake gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Etim motions for Blake to come forward. Etim throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Etim here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
Blake displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Etim.
Etim shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Blake as he jumps to the side.

A clash of legs there as Blake blocks the low kick.
