The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Santana pulls out of a head kick attempt.
De Santana wants to clinch.
De Santana throws a half hearted mid kick.
Wanadi De Santana seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hannedy throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
De Santana throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Hannedy scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Hannedy seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but De Santana does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

De Santana throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Hannedy works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

De Santana avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

De Santana throws a push kick but Hannedy slaps the foot to one side.

Hannedy drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but De Santana manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Hannedy has De Santana in his guard.

Hannedy wants to sweep here but De Santana controlling him for the moment.
Hannedy can't keep his opponent in guard - De Santana advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

De Santana is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Hannedy moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

De Santana is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Hannedy has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. De Santana is looking to defend but Hannedy has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for De Santana! Hannedy pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, De Santana taps out and this one is all over!
