The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Butts shoots for a takedown but Paiva saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Butts shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Butts showed some decent athleticism there.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Paiva has eaten all the pies!

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Butts cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Butts is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Paiva can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
