Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jasper Wright (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Joseph (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Joseph's choice of entrance music: Angels Remix Lupe Fiasco. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wright tries to bum rush Joseph with a series of wild strikes but Joseph uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Wright throws a solid leg kick but Joseph takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Wright.

Wright lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Joseph circles away quickly and effectively.

Wright lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Joseph at a distance.

Jasper Wright seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wright rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Joseph moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Joseph shoots in for a takedown but Wright shows good takedown defense.

Wright slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Joseph shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Wright as he jumps to the side.
Jasper Wright has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frank Joseph.
Wright moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

It looks like Frank Joseph has been cut.

Wright got a little sloppy there for a moment and Joseph has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Wright has managed to get both his arms back between Joseph's legs - danger averted.

Joseph is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
