The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
EGG takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
EGG moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
EGG looks gassed!
EGG takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A slapping leg kick lands for Rivers.
Rivers lands a big shot that drops EGG! Can he finish him?

EGG is rocked!
Rivers slips nicely into half guard.
EGG is still in real trouble! Can Rivers finish him?

Rivers decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
EGG seems to have recovered his senses.
Rivers throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent EGG stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Rivers lands a nice hook to EGG's body. EGG takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
A slapping leg kick lands for Rivers.
EGG doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Rivers swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Nice body punch from Rivers.

That's one minute gone in the round.
EGG gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Rivers.
A solid leg kick lands there for Rivers.
Rivers scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Rivers feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending EGG crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
