And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ran Sakamoto!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Penn feints and as Sakamoto raises his hands in defense, Penn changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Penn postures up in Sakamoto's guard and throws a big left but Sakamoto blocks it.
Sakamoto working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Penn.
Sakamoto had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Penn is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Sakamoto Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Penn's back instead.
Penn is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Sakamoto is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Penn won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Sakamoto off his unconscious opponent!
