Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between D Angle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and ABBAS FAISAL (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). ABBAS FAISAL has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
FAISAL avoids a kick to the body.

FAISAL bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

and FAISAL holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
FAISAL keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Angle's efforts to push away.
FAISAL gets underhooks to prevent Angle's takedown attempt.
FAISAL has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Angle avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
FAISAL tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Angle has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes FAISAL off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Angle can't do much from the bottom here.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Angle feints and as FAISAL raises his hands in defense, Angle changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Angle wants to control from the top but FAISAL keeps moving.

Angle clinches but FAISAL breaks the clinch
and FAISAL counters with a left and a right that stings Angle.
The crowd cheers as Angle lands an impressive looking overhand right. FAISAL doesn't seem phased though.

Angle shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. FAISAL manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Angle will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Angle is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Angle really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

ABBAS FAISAL is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. FAISAL connects with a nice short shot to Angle's temple.

Well FAISAL has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
