Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alex Tank (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Axel Excel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Excel is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Everything Zen- Bush. The key to victory for Alex Tank has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Excel fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Excel shoots in for a double leg but Tank sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Excel misses with a hook. Tank ducked under it nicely.
Excel tries to close the distance and clinch up but Tank swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Tank takes a swing at Excel's ribcage but misses.

Excel throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Tank was covering up waiting for the punch and Excel finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Tank is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Tank can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Excel controls the pace.
Excel wants to control from the top but Tank keeps moving.
Tank wants to stand and escape but Excel is having none of it.
Excel controls from within his opponent's guard.

Excel got a little sloppy there for a moment and Tank has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Excel has managed to get both his arms back between Tank's legs - danger averted.

Excel is stalling in the full guard.

Tank is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Excel wants to control from the top but Tank keeps moving.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Tank punishes Excel's body with a nice straight punch.
Alex Tank seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
