Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Daniel Bishop and William Gold.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gracie closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Mitchell to the mat! Mitchell manages to get full guard.
Mitchell pulls Gracie in close to prevent any damage.
Gracie postures up in Mitchell's guard and throws a big left but Mitchell blocks it.
Gracie content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Gracie postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Mitchell is trying to control the position but Gracie postures up.

Mitchell controls Gracie momentarily but Gracie frees himself.
Gracie has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Gracie thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Gracie closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Mitchell did well to prevent Gracie getting side control.

Gracie winds up and cracks Mitchell with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Mitchell manages to control the position for a moment.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Gracie lands a nice shot to the head.
Mitchell tries to hold on but Gracie pushes him away.

Gracie has hold of Mitchell's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Mitchell manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Gracie lands with some strikes.

Gracie is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Mitchell can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Mitchell knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gracie on the ground.
Mitchell wants to hold on but Gracie pushes him away.
Oooooh, big shot lands for Gracie! Mitchell is hurt baaadly! Gracie is firing away with more strikes - Mitchell is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
