Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anderson Macheda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and SaioG Snake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Anderson Macheda!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, SaioG Snake!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Alexandre Firmino and Daniel Cesar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Macheda takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Macheda clinches.
Snake tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Snake lands a damaging elbow.

It looks like Anderson Macheda has been cut.

Macheda tightens his grip and picks Snake up, before dumping him to the ground. Snake manages to land in guard.
Macheda might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Snake throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

Snake scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Macheda tries to clinch but Snake is having none of it.

Macheda gets a takedown into half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Snake is pressing down on Macheda's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Snake is looking for a triangle but Macheda pushes his legs off easily.

Snake escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Macheda gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Snake wants to sweep but no luck.
Snake has a closed guard, preventing Macheda from standing up.

Snake had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Macheda is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Snake Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Macheda's back instead.
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Snake's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.

Snake is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
Snake looks gassed!

Snake is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Macheda defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
Macheda wants to get back to his feet.

Snake looking to break Macheda's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Macheda remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Snake will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

Macheda is looking to stand back up. He's having to work hard to escape but eventually he manages it.
Macheda fails in his attempt to clinch.
Snake avoids a punch combination nicely.
Macheda throws a head kick that misses.

Snake rushes Macheda and presses him up against the cage.

Macheda doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
A short body shot lands from Snake as the two fighters clinch.

Snake has picked Macheda up - he's going for a ride! Snake dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Snake is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Macheda is just riding it out for now. Snake eventually gives up the hold.
Macheda pushes Snake off looking to stand but Snake dives back in and keeps control.
Snake is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

Snake gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!

Snake shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Macheda is trying to stand.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Snake trying to control the action but Macheda is working from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Macheda is looking to escape.
Snake lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Macheda tries to kick Snake off but Snake keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Macheda manages to escape and get back to his feet!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Snake throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Macheda stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Snake steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Macheda.
Snake throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Macheda.
Snake tries to clinch but Macheda is having none of it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Snake moves in looking to clinch but Macheda pushes him off.
Macheda takes one on the button.
Macheda lands with a kick to the temple. Snake shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Snake closes the distance and pushes Macheda back into the cage.
Macheda tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Macheda lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Snake is working on a guillotine. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! Macheda is tapping! Great win for Snake!
