The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murdoch dodges the punch combination from Johnson.
Murdoch tries to clinch but Johnson is having none of it.
Murdoch tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Johnson paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Murdoch takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Johnson misses with a wild combination.
Johnson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Murdoch tries to clinch but Johnson moves out of range.
Johnson keeps the fight on the outside.
Murdoch tries to clinch there but Johnson circles away.
Murdoch tries to close the distance and clinch up but Johnson swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Murdoch falls off balance throwing a combination
and Johnson counters with a three punch combo that has Murdoch backing up. Murdoch nods at Johnson to acknowledge the strikes.

Murdoch gets a clinch.
A looping hook to the body misses from Johnson. Murdoch does a little dance to reset his feet.
Johnson swats away the attempt to clinch by Murdoch.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Johnson lands a lovely overhand right.

It looks like Jack Murdoch has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Johnson counters with a right hand to the body.
Johnson circles away from the clinch attempt
and Johnson counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Murdoch off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Johnson follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Murdoch was out before he hit the floor.
