The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perreault tries to close the distance and clinch but Casanova swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Horrible takedown by Perreault or perhaps it was just good defense by Casanova which made him look bad.

Casanova shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Perreault manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Perreault should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Perreault is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Casanova gets his way!
