The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sosa cracks Macgyver with an open hand slap.
Macgyver throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sosa's waist but Sosa gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Macgyver off to one side.
Sosa keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Sosa tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Macgyver paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Macgyver fails with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Steve Macgyver. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Sosa lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Macgyver backs up against the cage.
Macgyver takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Macgyver. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Sosa scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

Sosa uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Sosa moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Nice combo by Sosa! Oh, that's hurt him - Macgyver falls to the canvas and Sosa follows him into side control.

Macgyver is rocked!
