Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Oda Musashi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricky Moses (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Moses comes into a darkened arena with his song building. White Zombie - more human than human kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Oda Musashi has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ricky Moses!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Daniel Franklin and Gwen Towbar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice jab there from Moses.
Moses keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Oda Musashi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Moses looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Musashi changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Moses tries to avoid it but Musashi manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Moses to the ground. Moses escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Musashi throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Moses was covering up waiting for the punch and Musashi finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Musashi drops back looking for a leg! Moses is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Moses manages to kick Musashi off! Musashi jumps back into Moses's guard.
Moses pulls Musashi in close to his closed guard and prevents Musashi from doing any damage or advancing position.

Moses wants to stand but Musashi is controlling the position.
Musashi pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Moses is keeping the position for now.
Moses really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Musashi. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Musashi uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Moses.
No luck for Musashi with that takedown attempt.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Musashi tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Musashi has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Musashi swings around for an armbar but Moses sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Musashi's guard.

Moses got a little sloppy there for a moment and Musashi has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Moses has managed to get both his arms back between Musashi's legs - danger averted.
Moses wanted to stand there but Musashi had control of the position.

Musashi had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Moses is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Musashi Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Moses's back instead.

Moses is trying to shake Musashi off. He's managed it and has hopped back to his feet! Musashi won't be happy about giving up the dominant position.
Musashi shoots in looking for a takedown. Moses tries to sprawl out of it but Musashi keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Moses manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Oda Musashi. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Moses throws a head kick that half lands.

It looks like Oda Musashi has been cut.
Moses misses with a jab, cross combination.
A chopping leg kick lands by Moses.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Moses closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Moses dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Moses looks to land a combination but Musashi avoids it well.
Musashi closes this distance looking for a takedown but Moses circles away.

Moses connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Musashi! He's out on his feet! Moses rushes in and drops Musashi with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
