Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Elmer Montgomery (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John McClaine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, John McClaine!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Steve Erwin and Winston Howard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Montgomery moves in looking to clinch but McClaine pushes him off.

McClaine throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Montgomery was covering up waiting for the punch and McClaine finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Montgomery wants to get back to his feet but McClaine is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
McClaine throwing strikes from guard but Montgomery blocks nicely.
McClaine landing with the ground and pound.
McClaine tries to free his leg and advance position but Montgomery is retaining full guard.
McClaine in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
McClaine wants to control from the top but Montgomery keeps moving.

Montgomery is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst McClaine is controlling him.
Montgomery can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as McClaine controls the pace.
McClaine trying to control but Montgomery is working from the bottom.
McClaine might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Montgomery kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

McClaine is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
McClaine ducks under a wild hook from Montgomery.
Elmer Montgomery is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Montgomery scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

Montgomery lands a big head kick that sends McClaine tumbling to the mat! Montgomery takes a step backwards and waves McClaine back to his feet - he wants the finish!

McClaine is rocked!

It looks like John McClaine has been cut.
Montgomery misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
McClaine is still on wobbly legs! Can Montgomery finish him?
McClaine will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
McClaine seems to have recovered his senses.
McClaine ducks under a wild hook from Montgomery.
Montgomery throws out a leg kick but McClaine moves out of range and Montgomery only half commits.
A slapping body kick lands there for Montgomery.
McClaine looks gassed!

Montgomery lands a left and a right that send McClaine crashing to the mat, dazed. Montgomery thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Montgomery is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! McClaine hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
