Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between barak carwin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Greg Horace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). barak carwin looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
carwin shoots in for a takedown but Horace shows good takedown defense.
carwin fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
carwin is breathing heavily.
Horace checks a leg kick nicely.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from carwin.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for barak carwin. That's going to take a lot out of him.
carwin shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Horace but Horace pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Horace throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. carwin was covering up waiting for the punch and Horace finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Horace drops back looking for a leg! carwin is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and carwin manages to kick Horace off! Horace jumps back into carwin's guard.

Horace drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Horace jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Horace is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, carwin has managed to free his arm - good work.

Horace is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. carwin doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Horace.

Horace has gone for a leg lock! carwin slips out almost immediately though and dives into Horace's guard.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Horace is on top in guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Horace is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
carwin seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Horace postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! carwin is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Horace, into his guard.

Horace is looking for a triangle here but carwin uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

Horace darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
