The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sweeney misses with a looping left.
Sweeney tries to bum rush Conlin with a series of wild strikes but Conlin uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Conlin has a takedown stuffed.
Conlin throws a nice looking combination but Sweeney bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Sweeney wants to clinch.
Sweeney swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Sweeney throws a combination that misses
and Conlin counters with a three punch combo that has Sweeney backing up. Sweeney nods at Conlin to acknowledge the strikes.
Sweeney avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Sweeney fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Sweeney walks into a jab.
Brock Sweeney seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Conlin misses with the combination.
Sweeney tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Conlin counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Sweeney misses with a jab, cross combination.
Conlin throws a head kick but Sweeney moves out of range.
Conlin lands with a nice combination. Sweeney backs away looking to recover.

Sweeney misses with a double jab
and Conlin counters with a crisp one two that drops Sweeney! Conlin thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Sweeney to his feet! Sweeney is in big trouble!
Sweeney is rocked!
Sweeney circles to his right, straight into a beautiful hook by Conlin. Sweeney falls face first into the canvas - great knockout victory for Conlin!
