Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between KAIYA GIVENS (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scott Smyth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Alan Glass and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
GIVENS fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Smyth, pushing him back against the cage.
GIVENS lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Smyth breaks from the clinch.
Smyth rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but GIVENS moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
GIVENS will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
GIVENS moves in looking to clinch but Smyth pushes him off.
GIVENS tries to move into range but Smyth moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Smyth will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Smyth scores with a crisp jab that stopped GIVENS in his tracks.
No joy there for Smyth, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
GIVENS shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Smyth as he jumps to the side.
Smyth fails to land with a series of punches.
Smyth will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Smyth throws a nice looking combination but GIVENS bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Smyth throws a one two combo.
GIVENS fails in his attempt to clinch.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from GIVENS.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for KAIYA GIVENS. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Smyth misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
GIVENS takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Smyth looks gassed!
GIVENS avoids a punch combination nicely.
GIVENS looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Smyth!

You get the feeling that Smyth really doesn't like being in this position too much.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Smyth connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt GIVENS! He's out on his feet! Smyth rushes in and drops GIVENS with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
