Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between David Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alessandro Romano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Romano is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Fratelli d'Italia. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, David Jackson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Alessandro Romano!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Patrick Alders and Paulsen Ambrosius.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Romano moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Romano feints and as Jackson raises his hands in defense, Romano changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Jackson is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Romano is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Romano stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jackson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Romano postures up in Jackson's guard and throws a big left but Jackson blocks it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Romano drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Romano jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Romano passes into half guard.
Romano looks gassed!

Romano is working for a kimura but Jackson is defending it quite comfortably.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Romano closes the distance and clinches.
Jackson can't find room to land a body shot as Romano controls the action.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Romano shoots for a double leg takedown but Jackson sprawls well. He's pushed Romano's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Jackson lands a left and a right that send Romano crashing to the mat, dazed. Jackson thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Romano is rocked!
Jackson throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Romano colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Jackson as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Romano is left battered and dazed whilst Jackson and his camp cheer!
