Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lucio Rodrigues (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Fox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rodrigues comes to the cage accompanied by Ain't no Sunshine. Fox has chosen Cant Be Touched by Roy Jones Jr. as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Lucio Rodrigues!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Paulo Santos and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Rodrigues.
Fox throws out a loose jab but Rodrigues uses good head movement to avoid it.
Fox goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
It looks like Lucio Rodrigues has been cut.
Fox uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Rodrigues.
Rodrigues closes this distance looking for a takedown but Fox circles away.
Fox dodges the punch combination from Rodrigues.
Fox with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Rodrigues is breathing heavily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Fox scores with a punch to the head.
Fox stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Fox wants it to stay on the feet.
Fox tries to land a leg kick but Rodrigues saw it coming and moves away.
Fox misses with a wild combination.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Rodrigues checks a leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Rodrigues misses with a combination
and Fox decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Rodrigues's guard.
Fox stands and steps away. Rodrigues gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Fox feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Rodrigues sprawling to the canvas! Rodrigues rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Fox finish him?!
Rodrigues is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Fox lands with a right and another and another! Rodrigues is in big trouble! Fox lands again and this time it's lights out for Rodrigues! A quality knockout there for Fox.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Brian Fox!
