The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ribeiro on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Holmes. Holmes obviously looking to wear him down.
Holmes lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Ribeiro at a distance.
Ribeiro changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Holmes tries to avoid it but Ribeiro manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Holmes to the ground. Holmes escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Ribeiro looks for a takedown but Holmes sprawls well.
Ribeiro on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Holmes lands a slapping body shot.
Ribeiro looks gassed!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Holmes dips to his left and cracks Ribeiro with an uppercut!
Holmes is looking to slow Ribeiro down with leg kicks.
A nice inside leg kick there by Holmes. That's going to slow Ribeiro down.
Ribeiro on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Holmes lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Holmes lands a really nice looking cross but Ribeiro seems unphased.

Holmes drops Ribeiro with a beautiful combination! Ribeiro stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Holmes is looking for the KO!

Holmes steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Ribeiro is out on his feet! Holmes sets himself and nearly takes Ribeiro's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
