Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between zach ko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Biloso Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, zach ko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Biloso Silva!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Alan Glass and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

ko looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Silva!
Silva is looking to get to half guard.
Silva is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Silva bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Silva wants to pass the guard but ko is keeping the position.

Silva is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
ko looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.

Silva drops back looking for a leg! ko is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and ko manages to kick Silva off! Silva jumps back into ko's guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Silva is sneakily working for an arm triangle but ko sees it coming and defends easily.

Silva seems to be trying to get a kimura but instead ko has recovered full guard.

Silva drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Silva jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Silva thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Silva wants to advance to full mount but ko doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.

ko wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

That was a close round but I would say that zach ko will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!



ko shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than ko was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Silva keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
ko will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Silva tries to improve his position but instead ko has taken his back!
ko is hanging on to Silva's back as he tries to escape.

ko is looking to control Silva but Silva is wriggling around and keeping busy.
Silva is trying to break free.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Silva turns into ko and is now in his guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Silva advances position into side control!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Silva swings around for an armbar but ko sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Silva's guard.

Silva has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but ko can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

ko avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Silva is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but ko pulls his head out easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

zach ko dominated that second round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!



ko throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Silva was covering up waiting for the punch and ko finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Silva is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Silva has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. ko is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Silva.
Silva tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but ko wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Silva is trying to work for a sweep but ko has mounted him!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

ko manages to capitalize on a mistake by Silva to take his back!
ko is looking to control Silva but Silva is wriggling around and keeping busy.
ko keeps control of the position as Silva tries to break free.

ko is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
You can see the frustration on Silva's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

zach ko showed his dominance in that final round.
Well ko has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
