The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good work by Kuvaldin as he checks the leg kick.
Kuvaldin misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from OTAKTAY.
OTAKTAY throws a nice looking combination but Kuvaldin bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Kuvaldin blocks a head kick by OTAKTAY.
No luck for Kuvaldin with that takedown attempt.
Kuvaldin misses with a hook. OTAKTAY ducked under it nicely.
OTAKTAY tries to score with a low kick but Kuvaldin moves his leg out of the way.

Kuvaldin is trying hard to land a takedown here. OTAKTAY sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
OTAKTAY throws a hook to the side of Kuvaldin's head but Kuvaldin sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Kuvaldin gets cracked there but stands up to it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kuvaldin uses good head movement to avoid the hook from OTAKTAY.

Kuvaldin throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. OTAKTAY was covering up waiting for the punch and Kuvaldin finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Kuvaldin drops back looking for a leg! OTAKTAY is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and OTAKTAY manages to kick Kuvaldin off! Kuvaldin jumps back into OTAKTAY's guard.

Kuvaldin drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Kuvaldin as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! OTAKTAY screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Kuvaldin! Nice submission victory there!
