The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pigget shoots in but MacLeod avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Pigget shoots in looking for a takedown. MacLeod tries to sprawl out of it but Pigget keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. MacLeod manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
MacLeod paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

It looks like Ty Pigget has been cut.
MacLeod throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Pigget stumbling backwards into the cage! Pigget bounces back off the cage towards MacLeod, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! MacLeod lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! MacLeod celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
