Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rullo Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Muay Thai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Gracie might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Symphony X - The Serpent's Kiss . Muay Thai acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gracie drives through with a takedown into guard.
Gracie trying to control the position from guard on top but Thai is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Gracie wants to stand but Thai has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Thai is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Thai is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Thai with a knee to the head.

It looks like Rullo Gracie has been cut.

Thai breaks from the clinch.
Thai misses with a wild combination.
Thai bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Gracie's head.

Gracie scores with a takedown into Thai's guard.
Thai really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gracie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Gracie missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Gracie would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Gracie won't allow Thai to get back to his feet.

Gracie is looking to work some ground and pound but Thai has wrist control.
Gracie stops Thai from standing up.

Gracie drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Thai dives on top into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Thai stands and steps away. Gracie gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Gracie gets a takedown into half guard.
Thai is trying to stand.
Thai looks gassed!
Gracie tries to stand and escape but Thai is controlling the position.

Gracie looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Gracie is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Thai is trying to stand up here but Gracie is controlling him well.

Gracie is trying to work for a kimura but Thai is defending well.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Thai is defending against the submission attempts here by Gracie.

Thai tries to kick Gracie off but Gracie keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Thai wants to stand back up but Gracie manages to pass into side control.
Thai wants to get back to his feet but Gracie drags him back down.
Gracie has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Thai tries to buck Gracie off but he can't manage it.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Gracie is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Gracie extends the arm and Thai is forced to tap!
