Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between thick legg mcgee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matheus Rodrigues (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodrigues getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
mcgee has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Rodrigues finds it's way round the side to connect with mcgee's head.
Rodrigues lands with a shot to the body.
mcgee has a takedown stuffed.
Rodrigues throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

mcgee moves in looking to clinch but Rodrigues pushes him off.
Rodrigues moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

mcgee throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Rodrigues's waist but Rodrigues gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing mcgee off to one side.

Rodrigues has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes mcgee off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. mcgee connects with a nice short shot to Rodrigues's temple.

Rodrigues connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Rodrigues looks to land a combination. mcgee sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
A left and a right from Rodrigues both land. Nice combination.
Rodrigues stalks mcgee and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into mcgee's face. mcgee staggers backwards, shaken.

Rodrigues lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but mcgee circles away quickly and effectively.
mcgee shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Rodrigues as he jumps to the side.
mcgee shoots in for a double leg but Rodrigues sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
mcgee dodges the punch combination from Rodrigues.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Rodrigues lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but mcgee circles away quickly and effectively.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from mcgee is defended easily by Rodrigues.

mcgee changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rodrigues tries to avoid it but mcgee manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rodrigues to the ground. Rodrigues escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
