The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tisdale tries to clinch but Rujo moves out of range.
Rujo shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Tisdale sprawls well. Tisdale wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Rujo gets slowly back to his feet.
Rujo throws a sloppy head kick and Tisdale moves out of range easily.
Tisdale tries to clinch up but Rujo circles away and keeps his distance.
Rujo throws a leg kick but Tisdale sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Rujo loads up on a big right hand but Tisdale slips the punch.
Rujo shoots in but no luck this time.
Tisdale tries to close the distance and clinch but Rujo swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Rujo tries a body shot but Tisdale blocks it.

Rujo goes for a takedown attempt but Tisdale pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Andre Tisdale has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Runtua Rujo.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
