Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ferdinand Marcos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Manny Woods (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Woods has chosen Jackson 5 - ABC as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Woods avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
No luck for Woods with that takedown attempt.
Woods shoots in but Marcos avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Marcos misses with a hook. Woods ducked under it nicely.
Woods shoots in for a takedown but Marcos shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Ferdinand Marcos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Manny Woods.

Woods shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Marcos sprawls well. Marcos wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Woods gets slowly back to his feet.

Marcos throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Marcos lands a really nice looking cross but Woods seems unphased.

Marcos bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Woods's head.
Marcos moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Marcos lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
