The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Pierre, right into the meat.
Head lands a head kick. Pierre smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
It looks like David Pierre has been cut.
Head tries a head kick but it misses.
Pierre keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
The fighters circling - Head throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Head with a hook.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

It looks like Hammera Head has been cut.
Head really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Head looks to land a right hand but Pierre moved out of range.
Pierre drops Head with a beautiful combination! Head stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Pierre is looking for the KO!

Oh Head is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Pierre throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Head.
Pierre keeps Head at a distance using the push kick.

Head seems to have got his legs back now.

Hammera Head seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Head throws a hook to the side of Pierre's head but Pierre sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Head uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Pierre.
Pierre looks to land a combination but Head avoids it well.
Pierre throws a head kick that misses.
Head avoids a punch combination nicely.
Pierre misses with a series of wild punches.

Pierre uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Head.
Pierre is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Head rather than just go for the knockout.
Head lands a really nice looking cross but Pierre seems unphased.
Pierre explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.

Pierre drops Head with a huge uppercut! Head drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Pierre is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
